Krohn Conservatory's Preschool Fall Camp Series - Adventures Under Glass

10:00am - Noon Three Mondays: September 11, 18 and 25

Fee: $35 per child for the 3 week series

Our young campers ages 3 1/2 - 5 years and Park staff explore a new nature theme each Monday without crowds....Krohn is closed to the public on these Mondays!

This drop off camp has exploratory walks, scavenger hunts, songs and make / take crafts or projects, games and much more keeping the preschoolers engaged and active in the two hour camp. Dress for the weather; we plan to go outside too! Activities are created for and taught to the specific age level of preschoolers. Call 513-861-3435 if you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of registering your child. 

The Cincinnati Park Board is a non-political, non-religious governmental agency. We teach all of our science programs based on commonly accepted scientific principles and theories.

Day and Night in the Forest 

Some animals, whether tropical or native, are nocturnal. Others prefer the daylight hours. We'll explore why both have different needs.  

Monday, September 25:
Hide and Seek in Nature  

Can you find me? Join in a fun-filled day of learning about the amazing disguises of camouflage and mimicry. 


Expectations of Participants

Preschoolers should be:
● toilet trained and stay with their assigned group with minimal reminders.
● able to explore the natural world, and move themselves along paths, over uneven ground and up and down steps and hills.
● able to interact with their peers in group games and activities and be able to maintain appropriate self-control in social situations.

Cincinnati Parks has a zero tolerance policy on drugs and violence.

Medical Conditions

Please note that there might be an edible craft provided by the Park staff on a camp day. In the boxes below under each child's registration information, please list any medical conditions, allergies, medications or other health concerns which should be known by the Park staff or emergency medical personnel. If no medical conditions pertain to your preschool child(ren), please write the word NONE.
