Fall 2017 Homeschool Programs - Registration

Cincinnati Park Naturalists provide a local resource for homeschooling families through weekday natural history and science programs that are educational and encourage hands-on learning. Join other homeschoolers for fun and learning!

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:
Programs are created for and taught to specific age/grade level ranges listed in the program titles. Call the phone number listed in the programs to inquire on the appropriateness of registering your younger or older sibling.

All programs require a minimum attendance and paid registration in advance. These deadlines and attendance needs are noted in each program description below. If the minimum attendance is not reached by the deadline, registrants will be notified prior to the program date and a refund provided. Refund checks take approximately 2 - 3 weeks and do not include the $3 administrative fee.

The Cincinnati Park Board is a non-political, non-religious governmental agency. We teach all of our science programs based on commonly accepted scientific principles and theories. We teach our local history programs based on contextual research and historical accounts.

If you have any questions regarding the information above, please call our main office, Bettman Center, at 321-6070.

MEDICAL/ WAIVER FORM:
Unless otherwise noted in the program description, adults do not need to stay with their child(ren) at the program. We will need a medical/waiver form completed for each child attending without an adult.  Click here  for the medical / waiver form. The completed form needs to be sent by email before the registration deadline to the Naturalist staff listed in the program description.

FEE POLICY:
If the program description below requests that adults stay for the program, the adult will not need to pay the participant fee. Any siblings that are with the adult and actively take part in the program will need to pay the participant fee. Adults that choose to stay for the program will need to pay the participant fee.

$ 5.00 per participant per program unless otherwise noted. There will be a $3 administration fee added to your grand total.

PROGRAM FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE to another future park event.

WAITING LIST:
If the program is sold out, please call the Nature Center to be placed on a waiting list.
